An Audit of the US Senate

VCD 10: Visualization of Data Democracy and the Republic - Spring 2023 For the first project of this class, we were tasked to analyze the concept of democracy and republic via data. As such, my partner and I initially decided to do an audit of the congressmen within the United States Senate and their educational backgrounds. This evolved into a web application made in Unity that I developed to look at the demographics of all of the senators to see the instances of privilege that they experience. This was extraordinarily helpful in that it allowed me to prototype some workflow devices for the project I was making for my senior thesis and gain a great deal of chops in coding. The graphics were processed by my partner while all of the interactive components were designed by me.
